Roshaneh Zafar – Managing Director
Ms. Zafar is the Founder and Managing Director of Kashf Foundation and established Kashf after she met with Dr. Muhammad Yunas of the Grameen Bank. Ms. Zafar holds a Masters degree in International Development from Yale University and BSc Degree in Finance from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania in the United States. Ms. Zafar has a wide range of development experience; she started her career with the World Bank and then went on to set up Kashf Foundation. Ms. Zafar has won many awards and recognitions for her contributions to the field of social entrepreneurship and women’s development.
Kamran Azim – Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Azim has been part of Kashf Foundation since 2005. He has been spearheading the network growth as well as product development initiatives at the Foundation. Mr. Azim is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and started his career with KPMG from where he went on to work with Total Parco Pakistan Ltd. Mr. Azim has a vast range of experience in financial advisory services as well as the corporate sector.
Faisal Malik – Chief Technology Officer
As a Chief Technology Officer, leading strategic efforts around technology and business initiatives. His focus has been around ‘customer centricity though leveraging on technology’. He has been involved in setting strategic direction and implementation of digital financial services, alternative delivery channel initiatives for organizational transformation. He is passionate about financial inclusion and wealth management for the underserved. Previously has worked in advisory services firms and telecom sector.
Ghulam Haider Chaudry – Chief Internal Auditor
Mr. Chaudary has been at Kashf Foundation since the past 7 years. Mr. Chaudary has over 25 years of auditing experience in the private sector and has worked for a major part of that in the education sector. Mr. Chaudary joined the Kashf team in 2006 to lead the design and implementation of Kashf’s internal audit processes along with establishing a strong culture to ensure high policy compliance and high standards of transparency at all times.
Shahzad Iqbal – Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Iqbal has been with Kashf Foundation since 2008. He deals with external financial stakeholders, arranges and forecasts funds required, and is involved in all key decision making processes of the company. Mr. Iqbal joined Kashf after working 7 years in the corporate sector. He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and has worked with KPMG and Worldcall (a leading telecom and broadband company) prior to joining Kashf Foundation.
Shahla Sattar – Head Risk and Compliance
Ms. Sattar joined Kashf in the very beginning in 1999 as an associate in the Accounts Department. Over the years, she has headed the Accounts department and recently took over the newly established Risk and Compliance department as its Head. Ms. Sattar has been elemental in developing the overall risk management framework for the institution and works closely with the Internal Audit department for its continuous improvement. She holds an MBA in Finance from the National College of Business Administration.
